Lillian Atkinson – Counselling Psychologist in Training

Lillian Atkinson

Lillian is a counselling psychologist-in-training and a BACP registered counsellor. She has international experience in Hong Kong, where she worked with a charity supporting refugees and asylum seekers and provided therapy to children, teens, couples, families and individuals in a therapy centre.

Now back in London, Lillian is working towards her Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at the Metanoia Institute. She is a former teacher, who has also worked as a counsellor with Place2Be. Recently, Lillian continued her interest in working with young people at a London University, where she was part of the student wellbeing team. Lillian has experience of working with a range of issues including, addiction, substance abuse, trauma, anxiety, depression, bereavement, emotional regulation, social skills and parenting skills.
