As a warm, compassionate honorary counsellor, Rebecca is dedicated to easing psychological distress and facilitating your unique healing journey towards personal growth. Her approach is rooted in empathy and compassion, supporting clients to embrace change and develop resilience through the process of self-discovery. Rebecca believes that healing truly begins when we feel heard, seen and valued.
At the heart of Rebecca’s practice lies a commitment to providing a safe and nurturing space and helping individuals from all walks of life overcome their unique difficulties. Her many years experience of supporting people with mental illness enables her to relate deeply with the isolation and fear of judgement associated with the personal struggles of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and relationship conflict.
In particular, her previous roles in the care and education sector have enabled her to gain knowledge and understanding of the challenges especially faced by those with neurodiversity and those who support them. She is passionate about embracing difference, navigating challenges and celebrating individual strengths.
Rebecca’s focus is on empowering individuals to navigate life’s transitions with confidence, clarity, and a sense of purpose, helping people to not only cope with change but to thrive through it. By fostering a supportive environment and offering practical tools for personal growth, Rebecca helps individuals embrace change, overcome obstacles, and take charge of their emotional well-being.
Rebecca is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy with a BSc in Psychology from the University of East London. She is currently working toward completion of a level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
