Chekkie Kauntze is a Clinical Lead at EASE Wellbeing. She is working towards a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Existential Psychotherapy at the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling. Chekkie also has experience working within a long term psychotherapy model with Mind and in a secondary school with the charity Place2Be. Prior to this Chekkie completed a year long certificate in Psychotherapy and Counselling at Regent’s University and obtained her Psychology undergraduate degree at Newcastle University. Additionally, she has a background working in property development within a start-up company. She has a particular interest in working with individuals within a short term model with anxiety, depression and eating difficulties.
