Emily Corrie

Registered Psychotherapist MBACP

Emily is a BACP registered counsellor. She takes an existential-humanistic approach to working with clients, but also resists clinging too tightly to labels of that sort.

Emily is most inspired by nature and our place within it. She is captivated by place, space, “home”, loneliness, longing, being out of place, change. Emily gets fired up by talking about these things with clients. As an expat, she feels a particular empathy for other people who are away from their homeland.

Emily holds a PGDip in Counselling Psychology, an MSc in Psychology and an MA in English literature. She is currently completing an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling in London.

Prior to training as a psychotherapist, she worked as a journalist and walked up many mountains.
