I am currently training for an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute in London and have worked at Metanoia Counselling and Psychotherapy service (MCPS) offering clients both face-to-face and online therapy. I am also a Yoga & Mindfulness Therapist for Mental Health with a specialist interest in Perinatal Mental Health and Somatic and Psychological Inquiry. I have worked as an Adult Therapist at a specialist in-patient NHS Mother and Baby Unit near London and I work with clients privately at my practice in Camden, London and Kings Langley, Hertfordshire. I am on the business advisory board of the Minded Institute (A Yoga Therapy Training Institute) and am a senior supervisor and lecturer on their 500h Yoga Therapy Professional Training Programme.
I am on the editorial board of Motherdom Magazine and am a speaker raising awareness of maternal mental health issues and the responsible use and benefit of non-medicalised interventions for mental health. I speak and run workshops for organisations on understanding and optimising mental health using non-medicalised interventions and also speak at National Mental Health conferences about the efficacy of Yoga and Mindfulness practices as therapeutic interventions for clinical populations. I have an award-winning first-class BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology and Social Anthropology, and before becoming a full-time mother to my two boys, I had a successful eight-year career as a Management Consultant.
